That's a nice deal.
I got a refurb from Apple last year to replace my old 2013 Mac Mini, but after a week of use decided I needed to step up to the 16GB model for a little future proofing. Sucks that these M1 Macs are basically impossible to upgrade RAM, and Apple of course charges ridiculous prices for it. At least with the HD you can easily attach an external to expand. So I bit the bullet on 16GB but got the base 256GB SSD b/c I had a 1TB SSD already sitting around.

BTW, the same spec (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) is available via Apple's refurb store for just $20 more. I have ordered most of my Apple products via their refurb and never been burned. You may have to be patient for certain models & specs and jump on them quickly, however.

That’s the standard Costco price from 6/6-13.
