I am so bummed. This is the phone I had been waiting for, for over a year. The Pixel looked good, but then I heard it's Verizon only. I'm foing to stick with At&t. Refuse to go to closed platform iPhone.

Would you rather it kill/maim you?

quote:Not exactly. The phone will work on any carrier. Verizon is just the exclusive carrier retailer. You can still buy it through the Google store or Verizon and use it with an AT&T sim.

i'll say this, those of you who do go pure android will love how less restrained it is to sammy's shite bloatware.
though, if you love the amenities of the samsung (waterproof, wireless charging) then just keep the hand grenade

I'm going budget. Looking at the ZTE Axon 7. It has decent reviews.

Check out the honor phone. Badass and cheap. Big fan

The 8? Heard good things but I saw a couple of comparison videos and supposedly the ZTE is better so idk. I do know that I like the look of the Honor 8 WAYYYYYYYY better.

Verizon told me that either Samsung or Verizon will eventually shut down the phone.

Well, I hope you don't plan on air traveling soon since they have been marked as an illegal carry on.

damn not too bad, can even finance it for $27 or $34 a month for two years.
Project Fi sounds interesting, 10 per gb sounds high, but $20 for phone, even if I do 10 gb in a month (rare for all three lines to do) it's only $100. So $60 for three lines and $100 possible for data. Not too bad. Better than the $240 we pay with ATT (actually have a fourth line but it's a flip phone for the ten year old for emergencies)

Had AT&T for 15 years and switched to FI, have not looked back since.

how is the speed on the data?
Is it possible to do multiple phones on one account?
I think I should switch over my work cell now. I never go on the internet with it other than to use Google voice.

Usually just as good, dead spots are just different if you travel around much, some spots better some worse.

Yes, each additional line is $15 for unlimited domestic talk and text now.

You will either have to make your voice number your Fi number or loose it unless something has changed recently.
