Because why not. It works. I appreciate a good value. Guess that makes me OT poor. Take the money you save a buy a quality router like the Asus rt-n66u or rt-ac66. I had a Motorola 6120 (4x4 channels) and I replaced it with this Cisco (8x4). Sold the moto to a friend. Haven't had a single problem.

I buy used stuff all the time. (I don't believe in buying new cars, all my appliances bought used)

Just not really trusting of used heavy use electronics.

I just got the white surfboard. Because I didn't want to wait until Thursday, I got it just now at Best Buy. Amazon $83, BB $110 +tax

Was the amazon free shipping? If not, you'd pay almost the same amount as in store. But the best buy website shows it for $99.99. I had to buy a new one on Monday. When I went to best buy I noticed the price tag was $110 and when I got to the counter I showed them it listed on their website for $99.99 and the cashier told me "we do price match, even our own "

Not sure why the difference in price because even if it was an online only price, I could have bought it online and picked up at the store on my way home from work.

Is that the model with the built in wifi? I saw one that had it built in but stuck with the 6141 model instead because I recently bought a Netgear R7000 nighthawk wifi router.

Newegg has the SB6141 for $90 and a free router.

I just jumped on this deal as I needed a router to make a bridge anyway and with taxes from Amazon.com, this was cheaper. Pretty sure this router can do dd-wrt (which I was planning on doing with a router I had in the closet until I remember I gave it to my parents). Also, I figured it was worth it to get a new one in case something happens I can use the manufacturer's warranty.

FYI deal with coupon code is available until 7/23

Best Buy will price match Amazon if it is bought and shipped from Amazon. If yours is, go back and get the difference refunded.
