The S7 i have came with a small transfer piece that plugs into old iphone and new s7. It transferred everything-Contacts, pics, videos, call log, texts even my podcasts were automatically stored in google play. Textra is good for texts and overall I really like it.

EXCEPT that my issues before were the differences in 3rd party apps (apple wins this hands down from my experience)

Good lord no. With an android you can customize everything

Nova Launcher and Textra being the two main things. Apple's latest update on their newest phone is unveiling text addons that textra has bad for years

I have an iPhone paid for by my company and Samsung Galaxy Note for my personal phone. At least twice a day I want to smash the stupid iPhone into pieces. Apple is often counterintuitive

I miss app badges with unread counts. Is Nova Launcher Prime with this add-on relatively reliable? $5 is little enough that I've almost paid it just to see how I like it but figured I'd ask the crowd first.

I don't want a curved screen/rounded edge on my phone because I use tempered glass to protect my screen. If the tempered glass gets scratched/whatever, I simply replace the tempered glass. The Edge is a gimmick I can do without. Love my G4. I can easily replace: the tempered glass, the battery and memory. Fits in my hand nicely, I don't accidently actuate anything, beautiful screen and a great camera.

Made the switch this weekend. I went ahead and replaced touch whiz with google launcher but i honesty dont think it would have bothered me to leave it. Samsung made a lot of improvements since the last time i had one, and for the better. It's no where near as intrusive.

So far I love the phone and very glad I finally left apple. Great phone.

I honestly don't understand why customization is such a big selling point for Android. I've used Nova Launcher and all that stuff but I never saw what was so great about it. You're pretty tech savvy. Maybe you can tell me what's so awesome about it.

You will like it. I kept the samsung keyboard. I actually like it better than the google one. I don't even miss gboard.

My boyfriend is a nexus fan boy (more so than the ones on here ) and he likes the s7 after playing with it.

Damn shame apple has fallen so far behind.

I LOVE my S7!

It takes better pictures than any camera I've owned, and it survived a 15 minute swim without ever even powering down.

My S7 picture from this weekend...
