The Google Chrome freezing issue has gotten to me.

I use Brave browser, which is basically chrome with less tracking. Try that?

I've noticed this on my 7T, Chrome is tough to use sometimes. And today, It kept telling me no SIM card, like the tray is loose or something. This is my second OnePlus and probably my last.

Supposedly they and Google are fighting or there is a known issue

Use the latest Edge browser which is Chrome based without all the tracking cookies/overhead inherent in Chrome.

It could be now but that doesn't stop anybody from changing to another one. Basing an entire phone experience from one app is dumb.

Maybe so but it's equally dumb for the phone manufacturer to have a default web browsing app not working worth a shite.
Samsungs default browser sucks but it's stable at least.

Chrome goes through bugs just like the rest of apps.

All I use is Chrome, on all of my devices. Passwords, bookmarks, etc., is all synced between them. It sucks to use another browser when your all in on one.

Basically only app I use as well
Use text and email as well
