Tim cook while be drug out into the street and shot for this Extra $75 for a charger that actually works on an $800 phone with 60% margin built in. Hysterical. Gotta keep investors happy after constructing a 2 billion dollar spaceship office. It's an added feeeeeeeeature to charge the phone fast. Why you think you should get that for free? Can't wait for the Apple retards to defend this move.

Not going to defend it cause the charger does suck, but do you actually use the ones that come with your phones?

I can't even remember where my OEM charger is at this point. My outlets all have USB where I need to have them and my travel charger is an AC/DC Car charger/external battery in one. I don't have a need for an Apple one even if it was a higher wattage.

edit: actually I do I know where one is, it's powering a raspberry pi to help run some homekit stuff on an outlet I never swapped to USB because of where it was located.

absolutely. my nexus 6 charger is in the kitchen on the built-in desk and its nice to come home with maybe 20% battery and plug it in and 10 minutes later its at 84%.

So I'm guessing you just went with 1A USB ports on your outlets? Should of gotten the 2A ones.

NVM, they don't support quick charge, had to look them up.

you posted your edit as i was hitting 'reply'.

i do have it plugged into the monoprice usb/outlet i bought last year but i'm using the standard plug at the bottom.

the 2 usb chargers at the top are for my wife's lightning cable and my LG smartwatch charger.

Yeah I looked up mine, mine don't support it. Looks like they do have some that support it though. Probably newer than when I purchased. I got Topgreener ones on Amazon.

holy shite.

soon they'll be charging people to turn on the screen...just .001 cents per usage!

it'll save your screen ingenuity!
