Alyx? Will this laptop and VR headset be able to handle it?

Appreciate any help! I already have my Oculus connected to the laptop.

Laptop gpus are always tough to gauge, because it depends on how much wattage your brick is letting them pull, so the same gpu might perform very differently in different laptops. My best guess is that you're probably be ok, but certainly no promises. Give it a shot, and if it doesn't work, just refund the game within the return window.

I’d probably go with something a little more powerful like a 3070 laptop if you want to run steam games like Alyx well. Most games it should handle, but if you are wanting things like Alyx it could struggle a bit unless you drop the settings.

My interpretation of his post is that he already owns the laptop.

I already own it. I did a "VR Test" through Steam and it the results were near the top so I think it should be able to handle it.

Nice. But yeah, like I said, give it a go, and if for some reason the performance isn't where you want, just return it within the time window
