Right. I was kind of shocked. Especially when I saw 18 eggs at Walmart for $4.50 this week.

I have been using Cricket. It's identical to AT&T in every way but $90 total after all fees and taxes a month for 3 lines. 4 lines is $100.

Cricket uses the AT&T towers, what does Google Fi use?

i've been on Cricket for 8+ years. $35/month. I think it started with like 3GB of data/month. now it's up to 10 I think. I've only been throttled once in over 8 years even when i go over the amount. Never charged more than $35.

I tried Google Fi for one month after getting a new Pixel. I ended up paying close to $50 for that month and I was being very careful with my data usage. I've switched back to Cricket and using my phone as often as I won't without worrying about the cost or throttling.

35GB for $50/month. I was trying the flexible which was $20 + $10/GB per month.

I pay $35/month for 10GB every month with Cricket.

There's nothing comparable from Google Fi that gets me the 10GB for $35/month. If I wanted to pay $15 more a month for the extra 25GB I never use, Google Fi still couldn't compete. Because for $50/month I can get Unlimited data with Cricket.

So, my options:

$35/month - Cricket Wireless 10GB/month
$50/month - Cricket Wireless unlimited data
$50/month (plus taxes and fees)- Google Fi 35GB/month

I'm annoyed that some services will not call a google Fi number because they're the same as free google voice numbers.

A business has certain brand cloud VOIP phones and you have a Google Fi number it will not be able to call you.

At least that's been the case for me, even after porting the number to AT&T.

I love my $25/mo Fi.

No one can compete with getting unused data back off your bill. Legendary.
