This is a travesty.
While that makes sense to me, I've never had that problem myself when filling out forms.
Speaking of forms, if you program a form and ask for stuff like SSN and make me physically click or tab over to do each section of 3 boxes you are making me want to murder you.

I have been on a chromebook since January and ChromeOS doesn't use the backspace to go back feature. It really pissed me off until I learned that a two finger left swipe on the track pad goes back and two finger right swipe goes forward a page.
On my old Samsung laptop a three finger swipe on the trackpad accomplished the same thing.
YMMV on different brands of laptops.
The alt < is something new to me. Thanks to whoever mentioned that.
