I recently just finished up my build, and went full AMD. Ryzen 9 9590X ,AsRock 6900XT OC, Asus Rog Strix X570-f MB, 32gb G Skill Ram in a Corsair 5000D Airflow case 10 Corsair LL fans and a NZXT Z73 360mm AIO. Paired it with a 32inch Samsung G7. Total build price was around 4k.

Certainly a beefy boy build. I always enjoy build pics, if you're up for it

And as always, whether I'm talking to a newb or a vet: reminder to go into bios and turn on xmp

I’ve never posted pics, so not sure exactly how to do it on the site lol. It’s 1am over here in Japan , so I’ll attempt to post some once the sun rises over here lol.

Quite a few sites that do the same thing, but imgbb is probably the easiest for trash uploads like for embedding on a forum. So just upload there, get the "direct" link, come back here, click the "img" button on the right of a reply box, paste the link in there, and tada.
And where in Japan are you, if you don't mind my asking? I spent about a month touring around a few years ago

Sounds like you two are about to send each other weenie pics or something.
Any way ... Amazon has 15 of those bad mofo GPUs yall said wouldn't come up. How long that stock will last however is another story.
Build pics do sound welcome here and wouldnt mind peeping some of your builds.

$3,500 for a video card is a bit more than ridiculous though.

Question:Why is "hypercollectables" selling the rtx 3090 for $3,500.00, when the msrp is $1,500?
Answer:Supply and Demand... they know that right now if they charge these insane prices someone will be desperate enough to buy it because the "I need it now" mentality and the "Flex" mentality is real. Until something happens that makes this price gouging completely unacceptable Amazon and these sellers will keep this train … see more

Question:This is not retail pricing by any means, is it a scam?
Answer:It's scalper pricing. They use bots to auto-buy items the instant they come in stock, and then they turn around and sell them online for massive profits. Sometimes 2 or 3 times MRSP.
Since everything is out of stock right now, due to global issues stemming in part from the pandemic, these scalpers can catch innocent… see more

Question:When will people stop supporting these scalpers by buying these cards at twice the mrp? the only way they'll stop is if we stop supporting them.
Answer:People have no one to blame but themselves for supporting scalpers. The moment people stop paying over retail they will stop. They do it simply because people keep buying them for 300% more. We must stop supporting them

Question:Why doesnt amazon ban price scalpers anything that is 2x over msrp should result in account bans?
Answer:supply and demand can buy full gaming computers with these cards in it for same price as you guys are charging for single video card why would any one buy video card on its own ? LINK … see more

Maybe tone the attitude a bit? There are a lot of people here with a ton of experience building PCs. I built my first in 1988.
You’re aren’t telling any of us anything we don’t know about the current state of purchasing a GPU.

Certainly, but at this point it doesn't seem right to call it just a video card anymore. Many people need them for valuable work completely unrelated to video output at this point. It outputs video, but its a hell of a lot more than a video output card.

Attitude? No attitude here, maybe YOU should try not to sound like a pretentious a-hole?

Well, in that case, let's charge $30,000 for them. I mean, if it's for valuable work.

I'm sure to some who really need the processing power, they are worth that much. There could easily be that much money at stake for business needing that processing capacity, so why wouldn't the second hand market mark up the to meet the demand?
No difference from businesses needing trucks paying out the arse for them when money is waiting to be made

I mean, for the record, when we said "out of stock" we didn't mean you couldn't buy them from resellers. You can buy literally any gpu you want on Ebay at any minute of any day. We meant at something near MSRP for the given card

Yea i realized that when i looked at the reviews and comments that 3500 wasn’t msrp. That was confusion on my part. Pretty terrible people do that shite.

Yeah, whole thing went to shite once bots got involved. But at least it's better than it was a year ago.
