I'm looking to switch from an iPhone to S10 but I saw that the S11 is coming out in mid February. I still want the S10; do prices usually drop for the Galaxy when the new version is released?

Usually about 90 days following the release of the latest and greatest the previous model price will begin to drop.... provided the shiny new ones don't catch fire and/or blow up.

Thanks. Not sure if I feel like waiting that long

I think prices will drop within 30 days of the new model, probably some immediately if you are doing a contract with a carrier.

Does it have the latest real 5G tech and all bands including 600 MHz?
If not, wait until the next product cycle.
That is why I shake my head when I see someone with a new iPhone. Apple as good as they are. They lack any drive to get the latest tech in the phone before it gets released. I know some providers have fake 5G. So I don’t know if that counts in your book.

The new Galaxy S11 is rumored to have vastly improved battery life.
100% wait 50 more days.
