Had a fold 4 for about 3 months. Had a case on it. Dropped it multiple times with no issues. Concrete, tile, everywhere. Dropped it while it was closed from pocket height onto a carpeted floor. It must have fallen just right because it will not open past halfway, and only half the screen works now.

Of course no insurance, but I'm an OT baller, so I bought the new Motorola Razr. I like it better so far. The crease on the inside screen is also much less noticeable on the Razr. My $0.02.

I'm staying on the 4, it's just too minor of an update to justify $800. Same screens, same batteries, same cameras. Wait till the 6 so you're on the tick cycle not the tock.

I did get the watch6 it's been great from the 5. Favorite watches easily.

I believe next year we'll see the new tri fold as well.

The best foldable out is by far the Honor Magic V2. Absolutely incredible. Global release next month.

The Honor Magic V2 is what I wish the 5 was, super thin and lightweight best on the market, sleek. I get it's the tock cycle but still the 5 is very lame.

So I bought a fold 4 512mb this past March, it was pretty good but still found it slightly glitchy with the Samsung software

The s-pen Support is great. It does some cool stuff

What's that being said, I bought a pixel fold as well. Hands down. Best foldable experience. They've optimized the Google apps to work differently with the folding screens. I really enjoy the experience better on the pixel

Well maybe, but the fold was the same price, so we are talking about and expensive phone either way.

I'm sure it's a fine device. (If you want it, you should get it.)

I've kind of started to feel like going in the opposite direction. Looking at getting a mini iphone or some similar android. I guess we always want what we don't have.

Got it on the way now. Samsung finally upped the trade in on the 4 to $1200 so pulled trigger.
