The way I make sure it in HDR is to check the picture settings on my Samsung. Hdr content activates different picture settings

Just swapped between my cable fox station and roku 4k. Damn. Looks awesome.

I am pretty sure analog TV looks better than some local Fox affiliates that squeeze four subchannels or another HD signal on one station.

I also heard Fox 8 in Nola shite the bed on audio when Trump’s interview came up.

I did not see it but heard about since I am at work.

Just loaded it on my amazon 4k device and it looks no different really must be doing something wrong. Have the TV set to 4K resolution when possible

Do you have the cube

That’s the only 4K HDR Amazon device worth having

The old Fire TV only can do UHD

Remember in your comparisons, all the big suppliers who offer multiple channels (cable companies, dishes, stream services) all have to compress those signals to fit on their systems. So you're not seeing a pristine signal. Compare your service to off-air for the best sample.

It looks great even with SDR on Apple TV. Not sure what problems others are having but the stream has worked great the entire game for me. I had some problems early in the pregame coverage but nothing during the game.

Off Air for many people is not a pristine Fox signal. Most compress 2 HD and 1 SD or 1 HD and several SD channels. This is also further handicapped by the fact that Over the Air is limited to MPEG 2 compression which is almost 20 year old technology. Newer compression standards are used for Web streaming and Satellite services like MPEG4 and H.265.
