Fox and NBC not picking up

I'm installing a GE Pro Attic Mount Antenna. Wbrz (abc) and WAFB (cbs) both show up when I scanned, but I can't get NBC or fox. Any ideas? TIA
ETA I'm in Denham Springs and have the antenna pointing at 239 degrees

Your antenna aiming direction looks good. Try it with and without an amplifier to see which is better. Amps can cause problems. Also, try replacing any splitters with a connector.
For me, no amplifier and no splitter provides the best reception.

Wbrz (9) and Wafb (13) are both High VHF channels. NBC, Fox and PBS are all UHF channels in your area. Not sure if that is relevant in you case but it seems like an odd coincidence.

try rotating the antenna and see if you can pick them up
If you do and you lose channel 2 AND 9 your antenna is not strong enough to pull a wide degree signal
Your options would be an antenna rotator or add a second antenna to your mast
If it makes no difference- you need to choose another antenna
AN old school winegard like this works for me

Jumping off the post above. make sure your antenna is cut for VHF and UHF. I suspect it is VHF only. Np worries, just add a UHF, using a combiner to the existing coax and you should be golden.

This is the antenna I have
I'm going to have to keep messing with it. I basically ran a coax cable from the antenna to the cox cable splitter, so that I could catch OTA channels in my bedroom and livingroom. There is nothing wrong with the picture for ABC or CBS. The problem is that's the only two channels I'm catching, Thanks again for the help.

I use these two antennas in the attic near Watson, fed into a combiner then delivered to the TV. Antennas are pointed towards the St Gabriel/Brusly area where the BR transmitters are. No problems with BTR stations-no rotator. Get KATC in Lafayette most of the time. When atmospherics are good, I also pick up Hattiesburg and Alexandria. Get the New Orleans stations periodically. Mississippi Public TV all the time.
For UHF

For VHF

Might add another UHF to that stack to firm up New Orleans stations.. Once things cool down in the attic.

Sorry, gotta figure out links. Antennas are from MCM Electronics. Search for Fringe Directional Antenna VHF Hi ($34.99), then HDTV80 Mile Deep Fringe Bowtie for $54.9. These are meant to be outdoor, but I use them in the attic due to HOA. As long as your roofing is not metal-backed, you should be good. Outside, your reception would be much better..
Also bought the J-Pipe mount, and secured the whole thing to a vertical beam to the roof. Go as high up as possible. Altitude is your friend!

Is HOA really preventing you from accessing TV via outdoor antenna? Do they make exceptions as long as you pay for it? Like stick an ugly dish up on the house but since you pay for it it's not an eye sore? Not sure how that jives with Mike federal or state -- pretty sure you are supposed to be allowed to access a broadcast

HOA not YET an issue, as the subdivision is not yet fully built out to have one. I like avoiding the issue later, plus with the antennas in the attic, I extend their life and don't have to deal with lightning issues.

That antenna will work for UHF/VHF.
This may be the problem. Try getting a different splitter or try getting a barrel connector and connecting directly into one of the TV's.
If not, I have this one in my attic in Lafayette and catch the BR Fox and NBC stations clear as day.

You can tell any HOA to suck it if they tell you that you can't have a outdoor TV antenna or sat dish. The HOA would be violating the Federal Over-the-Air Reception Devices (OTARD) Rules.
