I'm at my wits end. I recently had to swap routers due to intermittent internet issues. My previous router was one that I picked up at a garage sale. It worked fine for about a year. Recently, had to power cycle it once a day or so.

I ended up buying a Linksys AC1900 and set it up. All of my devices (phones, tablets, laptop, desktop) connect with no issues and even my two other Firesticks and Roku box connect. But my 4K will not connect. It recognizes the connection but it won't connect and just says "no internet".

Here's the odd thing. I have a TP Link range extender connected to my new router and I can connect the 4K to that . That's what I have it set to currently but would prefer to have it set to the main connection. Not sure what's going on here.

I've already factory reset the 4K Firestick.

I'm about done with the fireTV line.
I just had to replace a firebox in the living room because Youtube TV looked absolutely horrible no matter what I did software-wise.
Now all 4 of them will randomly black out and come back 5-10 seconds later with whatever we were watching paused. It happens every time we use them now and I'm about done.
Of course with me, that means spending more money

ETA: all of mine are hardwired with Cat6A (I'm a cable installer, its cost me $0 and a 1/2 day of walking around in the attic.

Firesticks won't connect to DFS channels. On your router, make sure your 5Ghz channel is set to 36-48 or 149-165.

Roku doesn't support my IPTV service. I'm probably switching over to a Formuler in the near future.

I have two other firesticks that connect. The 4K one doesn't.

Ever since Eatel made us take an Eero, Amazon has been stuttering, freezing, harmony hub randomly disconnecting then connecting, throwing it back to the Home Screen…I bought a Linksys switch and it did not help. I hate that Eero shite. I can’t help but Amazon has been giving me problems. Bought the Cube and will try that.

Edit: Figured out the issue. I was plugging in the wrong power adapter for my Linksys. It fit, powered on, but voltage wasn't enough so it kept dropping a connection. I found the correct plug, factory reset and all is good now.
