If I work off iCloud Drive, does this get backed up?
Does my TimeMachine back up my iCloud Drive ?

It exits only in the Cloud, there's nothing to back up.

Yes, if you configure it to do that. Now, I don't know how to configure the backup to the time machine and the icloud, but it can do both simultaneously.
