Does anyone here have experience with the Guardia App?

or any other malware apps? I've been getting an inordinate amount of spam calls lately. Coincidentally, I'm getting adds for Guardia. Just wondering if its worth the price or if there is a better malware program available.

Is your phone jailbroken?

no sir. I got the phone strait from ATT. But I find my battery life in IOS 26.2 to be worse and the spam calls, in addition to a few obvious spam texts, got me wondering if I should use an app for some sort of protection.

I've been reading many good reviews for Malwarebytes. This has been around for a long time. I'm going to start using it.

SPAM texts and calls are fixed by turning off unknown callers. People that aren't in your contact list get fed into a system to weed out robots. "Malware protection" won't fix that or the texts. As long as you haven't jail broken it, there's almost no need for extra protection, besides using a strong password. I'm on Mint Mobile, which already does some level of call/text filtering for free, but I'd expect AT&T to have put more resources into that filtering than Mint.
Battery life is subjective, and the dip may be temporary. The new iOS re-indexed a bunch of stuff in the background after the upgrade, so many complained about battery life for the first few days.
Malwarebytes has always been reliable on PC, I haven't used it on iOS. However, the three tiered pricing structure for a year of service is something you should investigate.

I have that set up, but my voicemail is still clogged with multiple spam messages every day. Anyone have a solution?
