Recently divorced and I got the new computer I bought. The problem is she used it for a month and it’s her email and passwords. Getting that info is out of the question.
Question is, how can I make the computer new again and start over?
Anywhere I can bring to near Baton Rouge or Hammond?

No idea what that means or how to do it.

Willing to pay to get it done if it’s complicated

As a point of clarification, can you boot into Windows, or are you stuck at the login screen?

Ok, we'll try it the easy way first. Depending on security settings, this may or may not work:

At the log in screen, you should see icons in the bottom right (if you don't, hit space bar or click, to make everything show). One of those icons will be the power icon.

1. Hold the Shift key on your keyboard, click the power icon, click Restart (you can now let go of Shift)
(your computer should restart and land on a blue screen)
2. Use your arrow keys to navigate to Troubleshoot and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.
3. Hit Enter on Reset this PC
4. Navigate to and hit enter on Remove everything

From this point, follow the prompts. I can't remember where the point of no return is, so I wasn't willing to go further than that for science

If that doesn't work, come back, and we can discuss other options.

Excellent post. If that doesn't work, you need a 8GB+ USB key and another computer (even a work computer should let you do this, since you're just downloading stuff from Microsoft, which your work computer likely forces you to do anyway, as long as USB keys are allowed.)

Microsoft Media Creation Tool

This will allow you to wipe it to an "as new" state, where you can login and set yourself as admin. And since it's an ex-wife, I wouldn't retain *anything* (no programs, no files) and just wipe it completely.
