issues occur when I'm watching shows from their on-demand service

Every time I watch GOT the entire stream will freeze or the video will freeze and audio will keep playing. Haven't tried any other shows yet.

I get that as well. But only when I try to fast forward.

Last night was easily the best night during prime time for me, of Live TV at least. On Demand did the same thing of freezing picture and audio kept playing. But only VOD content.

If I were paying for for I would want a full refund. My roommate got his moms password so we stream it at my house. Holy frick it won't stop lagging.

I was thrilled when I heard DTV had a streaming app coming out because I have always thought they had the best tech and resolution. DTVNOW is a pile of garbage. I took the free apple tv for 3 months payment deal and would be happy to return it if offered

I have Playstation now, which has some faults, but DTVNOW is not even workable. It constantly buffers and loads, I have had it for a month and not had a single viewing period without a buffer. Save yourself the money and stick with other services. End rant...

I've had no major issues with the service. Every once in awhile I'll get an error when jumping from the Apple TV in one room to the other but, it's quickly fixed by only pressing the menu button or swiping down and going to the guide. I haven't experienced any freezing while watching anything either but, I don't really watch much TV during "prime time" slots. It has been well worth the difference in price.

My internet isn't that great (18M) and I rarely have freezing and really only get live stream errors when I open the app back up after not using it for a while, but just need to change the channel. I only tried on demand viewing once and it was constantly freezing and giving an error during prime time.

Channel loading is muuuuch faster on my Apple TV than on the latest Fire TV. It takes like 30s for a channel to load on the fire and only maybe 5s on apple/chromecast.

Yea I rarely get any buffering. Channels only take a couple seconds to load on both FireTV and AppleTV. I get an error saying too many streams on my AppleTV from time to time. I change the channel and change it back and its fixed.

I love the service and expect these minor bugs will get fixed in time.

My main problem is that I just don't find it useful. I think I was more enamored with trying it and "cutting the cord" and while having a full library of TV Channels for a nice price. I don't think it's worth it, tbh.

I'll probably cut it out after my 3 month trial.

Same here. I rarely have an issue in the time I have had the service. I got one little freeze last night for about 2 seconds and there was an issue with the History channel several weeks back taking commercials every couple minutes. Other than that its been great for my needs.

I have had some really bad buffering before on both my ATV and Fire, but the last week or two have been fantastic. No buffering at all.

Now just waiting for local channels and DVR...

Idk. My girlfriend enjoys it.

I've got Netflix and KODI on my Fire TV. That's honestly what all my time goes to. When I have free time at my apartment it's either PS4 (minimal), Netflix, or KODI.

I don't have TV shows that I strive to watch other than Game of Thrones and Better Call Saul. Also, football season is over so no desire to hold the sports packages.

I'm unfortunately going to lose the DirecTV Now promo but I'll just re-up with PS Vue when August rolls around.

I know there aren't any BR local channels but has anyone tried to change their location to pick up locals in another city. Say Dallas or Atlanta? Just haven't had the time to try it myself.

No problems for me either. I love the service and will completely cut the Cox TV cord very soon. Did anyone else get the survey in their email? It was a general "how are we doing" and "are we better than other options" kind of thing. But it also asked several DVR service questions as well.

I'm running it on my regular smart tv through the fire stick. It's fine during the day but it seems like at night it never stops buffering

fire stick

I wonder if this might have something to do with your issues. MY fire stick seems to bog down a lot lately with DTVN, Tablo, Kodi and even moving about the interface picking out movies. It is several years old so it could be an age issue or something else. Maybe try the fire TV. I hear they run smoother.
