Does anyone know if I were to sign up for the free 7 day trial and cancel the trial before it ends, would I still be eligible to sign up for the 3 month package with the $35 locked in rate?

You can do a free trial but you will have to cancel that account and create a new one with the alternate email to get the free Apple TV. It happened to me this morning

I have PS Vue right now and they seem to go off of IP address. Is DTVNOW set up the same way. In other words, could I take my Fire TV or Apple to to a friends house and use it there?

No IP address involved. You can bring your device anywhere you want I would imagine

I took my tablet to a friends house and used Sony Vue. But I got a message saying that "you are not using your home network so you will get a limited choice of channels". WTF if I pay and you give me the ability of an ap but not get all the benefits.

The Tablo would only allow you to record live TV right? am I missing anything else it does?

Yeah that is what its for, its an OTA DVR. I think it's pretty cool.

I really wish there was a setting to turn off the swipe left/right to change Channels. Every time I reach for the remote I accidentally change the channel

Yeah that's the only thing I hate about the Apple TV remote. It should work for the favorite channels imo. I love how the interface isn't cluttered with tabs and nonsense.

When I first saw the remote I thought I had to buy those batteries that you use in hearing aids . A remote that I can actually charge without stumbling all over the place looking for batteries

Anyone having voice sync issues with fire stick? Fire TV is working great but when I try it with the stick the picture is choppy and the sound is out of sync with the picture.
