For those that use Dish, what do you use for internet service?

Bump because dammmit I am having trouble deciding between the two since its obvious DTV is picking up SEC network.
I go back and forth.

Honestly they are the same thing. Just go through the channel lists and compare and see if there are some channels you would like better in a certain package that one provider has that the other doesnt. If you want Sunday ticket then obviously go with DTV

I use EATEL for internet and DISH for TV.

I've had both for a lot of years. Both have more than adequate programming, similar picture quality and similar pricing. IMHO, Dish wins the hardware competition hands down - the HWS simply has no peer. It responds faster, commercial free PTAT recordings and built in ability to watch ANYTHING in your programming - live or recorded - ANYWHERE on a mobile device. Dish also wins the Support category but, by a slimmer margin. The nice thing is, should you have a problem you can contact a DIRT (Dish Internet Response Team) member online & have resolution near instantly - these guys are knowledgeable, helpful & highly efficient.

One thing I have not seen discussed. The descriptions of the individual shows is very good on Dish. Much better than on ATT U-Verse.
I don't know how good they are on Direct TV.

I haven't kept up with DISH, but the guys I know in the custom business all install Direct. In the past DISH downscaled their HD channels which resulted in a noticeable difference in picture quality. I've had Direct for years and wouldn't think of switching at this point.

My experience from just recently switching from directv to dish.....
Channel availability are probably very comparable. For me it came down to the ability to watch my entire dish lineup including my DVR from anywhere my phone/ipad can pick up service/wifi. To me it was a no brainer and very happy with my decision. Hope this helps. Also dish alway very good 'refer a friend' promotions. I just received a playstation 4 for referring 3 people plus $50 ($5 x 10 months) off your bill for each referral.
Oh and just in case....here are 2 promo codes!

Personally, having had Direct, Dish, and U-Verse, Direct is by far the best. The HD is the best quality, the sports selection is the best, especially with Sunday Ticket, and I've never had an issue with customer service. I personally liked U-Verse better than Dish as well.
And the Genie absolutely blows comparable services out of the water, especially since it went wireless.
Here's an account # for DirecTV if anyone needs one for a referral. Just go to directv.com/referral and you'll get $10 off a month for 10 months, as it's been said.

Can anyone with DTV or Dish take a screenshot as to how the guide interface looks?
Thanks
Thanks

I can't upload one but probably wouldn't tell you much anyway. The Dish guide is pretty much fully customizable and I would assume DTV's is as well. Puts cable to shame.

Directv just announced they reached an agreement with SEC network.

BUMP...
I know it's expected to experience signal loss with satellite companies during heavy rain storms and such, but does anyone experience signal loss with DTV or Dish during say a strong wind or even a light drizzle? I've had DTV for about a year now and maybe once a month a heavy wind will roll through and I'll lose signal. Any advice y'all can provide?

No issues here. This coming from a former DTV customer and now Dish Customer.
Only exception is when we have a torrential downpour.
