That's what I'm going to do with Comcast, but with new stand alone HBOGO coming out, I might just cancel cable completely. Depends on what channels I'm able pick up over the air. If I can pick up the big 4 networks, I'll definitely be telling Comcast to take a hike. Sling, HBOGO, Roku, netfix, and Amazon is plenty to watch.

Got my invitation yesterday and just signed up today. Must have missed a step, because I cannot find where to add the extra channels. I've been trying to add the $5 extra sports channels, but I guess I'm out of luck.
Anyway, not so great for me in its current form, so I will most likely cancel before the end of the 7 day free trial. This all comes down to the fact that it does not have Chromecast support yet (I should have known
), and I don't have a Roku. Makes it tough to get it to my tv; unless someone has a get around for this short of plugging my computer in to my tv.
I will probably get the service again during football season though. It definitely will be worth it for that purpose.

I'm assuming you can't add the packages under the 7-day free trial period. Works great on my Roku and iPhone. Looks like for $5 more bucks I can get ESPNU and SECN

I added the packages but I did just sign up altogether.
Same here, I added the packages at checkout for the trial.
I'll definitely be keeping this after the trial though.
Bringing my cable equipment to Cox this week.

That's awesome, now I don't need a hulu account unless there are other awesome shows?
I'll just roll with sling, prime, and antenna. Cancelling my Netflix account since it seems the same stuff is on prime.

Just saw this... AMC is being added to the $20 Sling TV plan.
Didn't see anything on their site about this and I wasn't sure if that site was reputable, but for those who need a confirmation....

This is the best part of getting the $5 Sports Package:

I did a little experimenting.
- It ONLY works with ESPN and ESPN2... right now at least. I have the sports package and I can't watch ESPNews, ESPNU, SEC Network, SEC Network Plus, Longhorn Network, ESPN Deportes, etc. they all say that I'm restricted.
- If you tune SlingTV to any channel, whatever you're watching in WatchESPN will disconnect. Their systems communicate with one another, so you can't use this to get an extra stream, even if it's a completely different network like TNT
- The only thing that this gives you is that you can watch ESPN in one browser window and ESPN2 in another browser window with both on WatchESPN. If you tune them both to the same stream they disconnect each other, you can only stream separate channels simultaneously with WatchESPN.
I am really happy for the last point. Hopefully when they fix the access to the rest of the channels beyond ESPN/ESPN2, they will all stream simultaneously. On college football Saturdays when LSU isn't on and I'm at home I usually sit in my office and put all of the biggest games on my 5 monitors. If I could watch ESPN, ESPN2, SEC Network, and ESPNU all at the same time that would be awesome. I could then use my antenna and tuner to tune into whatever games are on the local CBS/ABC channels, and I'll be all set for Saturdays.

Sling TV Streaming Service Now Open to the Public
Sling TV is delivered via Android, iPhone and Roku apps, like rivals Netflix and Hulu. But it doesn’t work the same as those on-demand services. Since Sling TV streams live television, subscribers only get access to what’s being broadcast at that moment, along with what’s been shown as far as 3 days back. It’s like having a DVR that records entire channels, rather than shows. There is no library of shows to pick from and watch whenever you want, and you won’t be able to binge on entire seasons. Sling TV also isn’t available in any Web browser—watching on a Mac or PC requires downloading an app.

I've got it. If I can make it work, I'll cut the cable. We'll see if it can deliver what it promises. I don't really care about only being able to stream to one device at a time though. Not really a deal breaker because that's usually all we do anyway, but...

Should be possible. It's possible with ESPN and ESPN2 right now but who knows if it will work with 3 or 4 channels when they enable access to ESPNU and SEC Network via WatchESPN.
But you don't necessarily need 4 monitors, you can watch multiple games in a grid on a single monitor or 2 monitors or whatever, if you want

I had the same problem last night. Would get bumped after a few minutes of viewing. Not a good first day of use

Haven't had any issues since. Used it today on the shitter at work ftw.
I'll try mine again tonight. I want to cut that cord, but need to make sure this product will work.

A few nights ago I had issues too (might have been the same night as you). Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
