So you would be dead in the water if needed to write scripts like CAD mentioned?

Here is my most "complicated script"

Gosub, divide by the prime factor of g squared theta add the product of the 2 dimensional integral and transpose the matrix.

I can only speak for SmartThings but you don't write scripts. You answer simple questions.

Perhaps there is some terminology differences but yes I could easily recreate cads screenshot.

Didn't really consider that "writing a script".

Just more gfunk flapping his gums about something he has no clue about

Eta honestly I wouldn't mind a script window option if they had it.

It's extremely intuitive and doesn't take any IT skills whatsoever.

not only that, but for a new hub to 'justify' us moving off our current platform, it would have to be a significant upgrade in terms of reliablity, support and intuitive UI.

in other words, our current experience would only improve with a migration to another platform..but gfunk seems to think we are soldiering pins on electrical switches and writing code in FORTRAN to get these to communicate together.

like i said, he's trying to win an argument without having any actual knowledge of the subject.

back on topic, CEO of smartthings has decided to weigh in and reassure users after the developer 'strike' and actually *gasp* go into a few technical details.

No issues here with my ST v2, coupled that with the harmony hub and it works flawlessly.
