Always have great downloads, but the uploads are very low compared to other companies. Often other ISPs' uploads match the downloads.. Or at least go over 20 mb

What are the highest upload speeds yall get?

I am wondering if upgrading my Cox internet will improve my upload speeds or not, so I am seeing if anyone else has better speeds.

I realize this isn't important for most people, but I do a lot of uploading/broadcasting on multiple devices.

Cox limits the upload to 10 which is fine for most people. Very little of your traffic is likely upload unless you are uploading a lot of data to the internet for some reason.

Some providers offer symmetrical internet speed - aka same upload and download speeds. Cox reserves more bandwidth for download.

Not necessarily. I pull uploads of 25-30 all the time on a 300 Mbps plan.

They might have increased it. At one point I thought they were all 10 but I've never had the ultimate tier. We have the 150 Mbps package.

this is what I get, and this is the plan I have. Even when I was having connection issues a few weeks ago, my upload speeds were still in the 20-25 range. Now, I have been getting 33-38 range.

I might check into that package. Thanks again. I might also check into buying my own modem if that might help.

I left Cox as soon as ATT finished laying fiber in my hood because of the upload speeds. I always had about 105% of my DL but Plex to my parents and inlaws suffered because of my upload. When I left I begged them to open up my upload speed so I could stay (16 year customer with no customer service issues) but they said they couldn't unless I went with the business package.
