We are moving soon to an area that has AAT fiber with 1gig speeds.
We have had Cox as our isp for 2o years along with Cox.net email addresses. Is there any way to maintain the Cox email address aside from keeping them as isp?

I don't know about Cox, but AT&T allowed me to keep my email addy when I switched to Spectrum. They charge me $1.00 per month for each account.

when i got ride of Cox they gave me a 90 day email cancellation notice and directly on the 90th day it was deactivated.
They did not give me an option to keep it. I had hear from someone else you may be able to pay them to keep it, but, when i called they said that wasn't available.

They gave me 6 months or so before it was locked.
Just get a gmail and never worry about it again.

If someone you trust has Cox and will continue to have Cox, you can see about transferring to their account. When I moved I was able to transfer my cox email to my parents account.

Called Cox and they will let me keep the email address if we rent a modem from them for 19.99$/month.

I'm not surprised about Cox doing business this way. Probably the only reason I was allowed to keep my AT&T email account is because their email is really Yahoo. Both companies are douches to the extreme.
