Couple issues with YouTube TV

1. I can't find an info selection to read a description of an episode. Does YTTV not have that?
2. Every show, both live and dvr, on LPB (PBS) has an issue where the words aren't in sync with the persons mouth. It's off by a lot. Is yours like that also? Any suggestions? Every other channel is fine.

Yes of course it has it. You'll find it if you just play around for a second.

1. Yes for me if it's playing, pull up the bar and there are options. Mine is a plus sign. Then click more info.
2. Are you connected to a sound bar? I have a slight issue with syncing on my beam...some times it's really bad.

No soundbar. Does that on all 3 TVs in my house.

Mine often has the sound out of sync. But this only happens on dvr and the easy fix is to advance a couple of frames and it'll be just fine again.

Fwiw i have had the issue with LPB as well. Only channel that does it for me.

Have you ever contacted YTTV about it? My pbs channel is pretty bad.

honestly i dont watch pbs a ton and i only noticed it about a week ago, so no i havent done anything about it.

Had the same issue w/ PBS. As of yesterday, it’s fixed. I didn’t change anything.

I haven't had any lip sync issues. I've never watched lpb or PBS though.
My bitch would be it's horrible at picking up sports for dvr. If you have it set to record lsu football, 99% of football game airings are classified as a one time event "2019: LSU VS Alabama" etc that has to be dvred separately.

It worked during the regular season perfectly. It's the re-airs that it struggles with.

I couldnt really remember when i signed up for youtube tv and then once day i noticed i only had ole miss going forward under LSU Football. Figured it must have been around then.

PBS lip synching appears to be fixed now. Still don't see an info option to see episode descriptions. I'm using a new firestick. There's only a few buttons on the remote and none of them bring up info.

well no, there's no dedicated info button. I don't have a firestick tv but all i have to do is press down arrow once or twice and a ton of different options come up from other episodes, other channels i can toggle to, recording options, and info is one. Going off memory i believe the checkmark icon has the episode info.

The biggest one I can see is pixelations in the deep blacks of live tv. I *THINK* it has to do with them upscaling a 720p signal up to 1080p but it makes it look bad.
Compared to Hulu with live tv, the 720p not upscaled almost looks better because it's less pixelated.
Anyone else see that?

What does the autoplay key plays option on sports mean? It says when you watch a play the following plays will run continuously.
