Suggesting using cell data as a primary use of internet is a terrible idea Cell providers will throttle you after 20-25GB of usage

No sir they don't with PDANET.

I use a lot more than that.

yes you do get throttled its literally in ever unlimited data contract

your app isn't going to stop that

lets also not forget the quality of cell data vs a wired connection

You must be lost from the poliboard

You are not listening sir. I have been doing this a very LONG time, and NO, I do not get throttled. The only throttling done by Sprint is Hot Spot after 5 gigs.

Again, I have been doing this for a long. This isn't a new test.

I have not explained anything about Kodi. saying I use it is not explaining.

No it's not 2011, because if it were you would not be using the word "Kodi". It wasn't around. The word would be XBMC. I've been a part of that development process for a long time.

Yes they do. It’s in the fine print on every major carriers website. 10-15GB limit on tethering/hotspot. Speeds drop to 128kb/s.

lol... I'm on Sprint unlimited. No way I could do this. I'd be throttled in a day.

This is horrible advice.

Sounds like our political posting baw lives alone, so no one to cut the internet off when he pulls the phone and he can stream unlimited for $50 a month and share Wi-Fi. Kudus for the post.

His post would be decent advice in like 2013 using 3G before cell providers caught on to tethering data.

To be fair I'm pretty sure using PDANet gets around the tethering-specific data caps (for some carriers), until they use traffic analysis to figure out what he's doing.

Which means he probably gets a little longer than most before he gets throttled.

Regardless, it's a completely unrealistic scenario for pretty much anyone other than some guy who is broke and single and doesn't care about garbage quality streaming.
