It's how Apple built their method of using it.

I'm still not seeing how an Android user is going to be able to walk up to an ApplePay system and use it, but maybe so.

an ApplePay system
:sigh:

It's an NFC system that the retailers have. "ApplePay" is the name Apple has given to the same process android has already had.

You can't be this dense.

Visa developed the pay system. Apple gets it first, it will then come to other platforms

Still wrong. That's talking about a way to scramble card numbers, not using NFC. It's still going to use NFC, just like android has been using.

Correct. Any phone with NFC and a secure element can use those tap and pay systems, provided your carrier hasn't locked the secure element.

? WTF? I never said it didn't use NFC. NFC's been around for years.

I said Android owners wouldn't be able to access the ApplePay.

One difference being now you'll actually be able to use NFC somewhere. Well, at least iPhone users will.

Exactly. As in Apple has NFC and you'll actually be able to use it now.

ETA: As in this is a major roll out, not the pathetic pretty much abandoned systems in place now.

Why would you troll an apple thread in the first place?

because ApplePay is the name of the program... like google wallet... of course android phones won't be able to use ApplePay. Doesn't mean that android won't be able to use the same NFC stations that apple uses.

It's the same fricking system you retard. More retailers are adding it, yes. Android users will use the same devices. It benefits them, too.

Oh for fricks sake. What good is using the device if the system won't accept it?

I tell you what by the end of the year when iPhone users everywhere are waiving thier phones at the scanners at major retailers EVERYWHERE and paying for thier purchases and Andorid users can't, we'll see who the retard is.
