My wife has it. She used skillset.com to help study for it.

The cert alone fulfills my CEUs for S+, so its got to be more than just an entry level.

My unit is paying for it so I was like sure why not.

It's not even entry level. It's a joke.

That's the only reason I'd even bother with that worthless piece of crap.

If you're serious about doing the red team thing, look in to the OSCP. Or if you have deep pockets, the GPEN from SANS.

Good luck. Best piece of advice I have is think like a manager and what's best for the business, not like a tech.

recommending OSCP to someone interested in CEH is probably putting the cart just a little before the horse.

going on annual SANS trip next week

Nah, I'm a firm believer of tossing someone who doesn't know how to swim in the deep end

nah... no cert with this class. Ive got a few GIAC certs but before they changed the renewal rules it was too much work/$$$ to maintain more than 3. Never got any more after the rule change. I haven't taken any of the classes with certs over the last few years

I feel your pain man. I'm fortunate enough that both the Army and my full time job will both pay for renewals.

You on the red or blue side of the house?

Same here, I just dont go to SANS more than once a year. It used to be too hard to get enough CPEs for more than 3.

I've done both red/blue. Architecture now...
