I post when I am on conference calls, although I could probably buy parts on conference calls I could not assemble them.

And really, I spent $500 too much. if $500 is going to make or break you, you have problems.

I have built PCs in the past, and its a pain in the arse. I do not enjoy it, and I paid someone to do this.

I could clean my house but its worth $150 a month to pay someone to do it for me.

I could change my own oil but its worth $40 to pay someone to do it for me.

I pay someone to mow my lawn. I pay someone to fix my sprinklers. I fail to see the difference.

I don't regret it. Although I do wish I had gone the Roku route, it would have ultimately been easier to maintain.

Oh, I would have still had a PC, but streamed via plex. I don't use netflix or hulu, only torrents.

I use my chromecast to stream Plex

Yea but at least the OP finally gave a budget.

I will work him something up for $800 since no one else has yet.

I just setup an Intel NUC as my media pc. Shits pimp.
