Best VoIP setup?

I'm looking to setup a VoIP solution for my business. Basically, here's what I'm trying to do.
1. Have a phone number I can provide customers.
2. That number rings to my laptop and/or headset on my desk.
3. Voicemails and SMS are sent to my email.
Trying to get an idea of what device/service can provide those things. Thanks.

8x8.com App on your phone, application on your laptop and traditional desk phone. Can even text to the work number through the app. I run a large business on it.

We're with Ring Central.
1. Have a phone number I can provide customers. YES
2. That number rings to my laptop and/or headset on my desk. YES
3. Voicemails and SMS are sent to my email. YES
The phone APP allows the number to either ring your phone, or you can direct it to voicemail, to your desktop, etc. You can also make calls through the APP on your phone and the number customers will see is your work number.
You can be reached by text on the same work number and respond to text messages and voicemails all through the app, or your desktop portal. Besides the low monthly cost (we have 6 lines and a fax line) the only other cost we had was desktop phones, but desktop phones are not required to utilize the VOIP, just a convenience.
We looked into a few competitors when making the switch and have been satisfied with Ring Central.

Verizon’s one talk is pretty good. $25 a line. Free installation if you have 5 or more lines. Has any feature that any other carrier has. No contract either. I’ve played with ring centrals portal and they’re essentially the same thing.

Try voice.google.com. See if that works for you.
