Best tablet for young children

Grandson is 5, and he loves YouTube Kids and other educational and kids’ entertainment apps that I have for him on my phone. I want to get him an affordable tablet, 7-10” screen that’s durable and can access all the apps with Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth. Suggestions?
Price is a big deal because he will probably only use it for a few years.

We went with the 8" Amazon Fire Kids Pro HD8 and works great. Also had it take a few beatings when my youngest was in the throwing everything phase as an outlet for temper tantrums.
They will routinely have sales on these with the biggest sales during Prime Days (just missed), followed closely by Black Friday Deals.

98% of the time, yes, but they have their place. You better believe I'm busting out the kids Fire tablet for road trips, airports, and sick days, and i have no shame about it.
