I like the upgraded color version of that. They tie in to my Lutron app for my smart switches and it works with my Google assist.

I've had some AC and energy efficiency people tell me its best to put on desired temp and leave it there if your home is well insulated. The savings with the AC/heater not running do not make up for what it takes to bring temp back up or down. Easier to maintain a consistent temp.

idk if you have alexa in your house but if so i would get one compatible with it. i love being able to tell my devices to set the thermostat to whatever i want.

it's pretty awesome to tell my devices throughout the house when i want the heat on or off. same for ac.
don't ever need to go to the thermostat or even get out of bed. don't even need my phone.

WiFi is ok IF it can be defeated.
