What is your price range? Obviously the new pixels are the benchmark but depending on your budget they may be out of range.

Man, the Pixel isn't waterproof, doesn't support SD cards, has a smaller screen, and doesn't support wireless charging. It is basically the anti-Note 7.

Wireless charging is a dumb gimmick

Get the XL if you want a bigger screen

Why do you need SD cards? Google offers unlimited cloud storage

Not being waterproof is a legitimate gripe.

I'm reading the LG V20 will be the most comparable to the Note 7 sans stylus and being water resistant...anybody reading any negative things about the V20?

As someone who went from a note 5 to a OnePlus 3, stock Android is worth more than all that crap.

Although I do think the price point would have killed $100 less

Honestly, I'm amazed at the difference in experience between the 1+3 and note 5. I'm never touching a Samsung again

Why do you need an sd card? Just curious.

It is simple. I am looking at what most people indicate the value proposition for the Note 7 is and comparing it to what the Pixel (XL) has. The XL's screen is the size of the Edge 7's, smaller than the Note 7's.

You might not use wireless charging or sd cards, but many people who buy Samsungs do.

I have large quantities of data that sometimes I need to access in places that do not have great or any connectivity. I also like redundancy for my data.

I don't suppose anyone "needs" it. It is just part of the Samsung value proposition.

He's replacing the Note 7. As far as I know, it is the most expensive android phone on the market at approximately $780.

You need more than 128 gb + cloud storage for photos, videos, and music on your phone?

I highly doubt it.

Wireless charging is a gimmick because you can barely use the phone while it's charging. It's not wireless in the way that Bluetooth headphones are where you can do activities without the inconvenience of having wires in your way, you have to physically lay the phone down. In many ways, it's more inconvenient than traditional chargers.
