Best mid-level TV less that $1000?

I recently purchased a Samsung 8000 series 65". AU8000 is the model number I believe.
I like it well enough but it just isn't the clearest picture I was hoping for - especially when watching sports.
Is this actually a solid TV and I'm just being too nit-picky for a TV in this price range?
Debating on whether I want to exchange it while I still can. Willing to go down to 55" for a better TV (higher price)

In that range I'd go with either a larger regular QLED or a smaller mini-led QLED, from Samsung, TCL, or Hisense. Based on Rtings scores, the LG and Sony qleds don't seem worth the price. Just bought a 75 hisense U6G for 800, very happy with it so far, but you do have to tinker with the backlight settings sometimes when you switch to watching something with a lot of black

The A1 oled is a great TV for your price range

What is the difference in the A1 and C1 series?

Went to best buy for the first time in forever the other day. They had a pretty cool setup of the same brands, same size, different models, different prices. Really obvious what you are paying for when they are set up like that.

Probably sound quality and some gaming features. Not exactly sure. C1 will be better overall but more expensive

Where and with taxes/warranty included? I almost placed an order for the 48" which was coming out at around $1200

Best Buy. Right after thanksgiving with no warranty. Think Costco had the same price with 5 year warranty.
