For the first time in almost a decade I let an iPhone pre-order pass.
I'm grandfathered into unlimited with AT&T from the old days and I'm used to dropping $300 or $400 on my phone with a 2 year re-up.
With all of the changes that have occurred with the way things work, what am I looking at to get a 7+ and not let them screw me out of my unlimited?

They have an unlimited plan now

The new unlimited plan drops from LTE down to 2G when you go over a certain amount of data, if I understood the plan correctly.
I`m in the same boat, except I`m considering switching services possibly.

I have this same plan and option with Sprint.

A 128GB iPhone 7+ is $869.
You should certainly qualify for the Apple iphone upgrade program for 24 payments of $41.58, which includes AppleCare+ and the ability to trade in for the new iphone next year.
Whether you'd be able to finance through AT&T Next for around the same amount, I do not know. But I don't see why not unless they're being real dicks about old unlimited plans.
