ATT TV Now (DirecTV Now) raising prices again

In the matter of a year my price is going to go from $45 to $65. Unfortunately it's still the best deal for me because of the $5 HBO.
I could switch to YTTV with HBO Now for the same price but I would be losing Hallmark (a must for the wife). At this point if we get another rate increase my best bet will be to go back to cable

I've been eyeballing YoutubeTV for a while and especially since they came to Amazon devices. My kids haven't been watching Nick Jr. which was a big reason to stick with AT&T Now. This price hike may make YTTV worth the jump.
I'm paying $58/month for 'Go Big' + HBO + Showtime. That's 105 channels and 2 streams at a time. I could add another stream for $5, but I haven't had the need yet.

Cancelled Direct tv yesterday. Have YouTube TV now.

So is it just $10 across the board on older plans and $15 for new ones?
I’m still on the grandfathered Go Big plan with HBO and An extra stream at 85. If it only goes up to $95 I may look around but last I checked there wasn’t another service that could get me everything.
ETA: Yep just got the email, just a $10 increase on the package and not add ons. Even at $95 total I’m not sure I’ll get everything I have anywhere else.

I pay $28.62 a month For the basic package, but I’ve been grandfathered in and have att unlimited which adds free HBO.i Wouldn’t change for anything with this price. I get around 70 channels, only one I wish I had was sec network. I only get espn 1 & 2

Screw ATT TV Now. I only had them for Nick Jr. My kids are starting to watch Amazon Prime more, so I'm going with YouTube TV, and I'm just going to use my parents login for Nick Jr app.
After college football season is over with, I plan on getting rid of YouTube TV, and just get HBO Now. I don't need sports when it's not football season.

As much as I cannot believe I'm saying it, Comcast is looking better and better.

I got my email around 8pm last night. Mine is going up $10. They have to give each subscriber something like a 30 day notice so we are all getting our notices based on the billing cycle.

Canceling DTV in the next week
I had Xfinity internet installed Friday the 18th. On Saturday morning of the 19th I cancelled DTV, ATT internet and ATT phone. I was paying $308 a month for the premium package with DTV.
What I was going to do was switch to YouTube TV for the locals and sports. But, when I looked at their channel lineup, I was like "OH HELL NO, no History, Viceland, A&E or Destination channel, NO Youtube TV for me".
I did some research and found that History doesn't offer a stand alone app for a fee. BUT, PHILO TV has History channel. It has no locals or sports channels
but it has these channels that aren't on YouTube TV:
DIY, Cook, Gameshow, Paramount, Comedy, LIFE, LIFE movies, Discovery Life, A&E, FYI, HISTORY, VICE, LOGO, Science, Destination, American Heroes, Law & Crime, Discovery Family, all the Nick channels, TV Land, Hallmark, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, CMT, BET, BET Her, MTV, MTV2, VH1, MTV Classic, UP, and AXS.
Sorry for the capital letters but I copied this out a spreadsheet I made when I started thinking about cancelling DirecTV.
But anyway, I have everything I had with DirecTV premium besides the HBO, Starz, Show, etc., PBS, NFL, ION, WGN, ELRAY, FUSION, The Weather Channel, ESPN Classic and the Longhorn Network.
YouTube and Philo both have cloud DVR which is like DTV's DVR on steroids. Storage is unlimited and YTTV keeps everything for a year. Since it is internet based a lot of shows and movies are added to my library before they play on TV. As soon as I favorited "Pawn Stars" I had every episode that had aired in my library.
I also have Smithsonian included with YouTube TV and that is a pay channel on DTV.
So I basically cancelled the premium channels on DTV and now pay $70 ($50 for YT & $20 for Philo) plus tax per month as opposed to $213 per month with DTV just for TV.
With phone and internet I was paying $308 w/ATT and I now have Xfinity internet for $29.99 a month. So my total will be less than $110 with tax.
I always had the music channels blocked on DTV but now that I see them I realize they have pretty damn good shows and movies at times since none of them play music videos anymore.

Cancelled them about 6 months back. Been on Hulu + Live TV ever since. Hulu has been excellent so far compared to the shite show that was DirecTV Now.

love me some Hulu + live tv. just wish their interface was a little more user friendly

Thinking about canceling and just going with Disney Plus, NFL, and MLB apps. Can get almost all of those for $250 a year. Get HBO to go as needed. I can buy other shows if needed. No reason for me to spend $700 a year on ATT TV.

There’s a new app called frndly that has all 3 hallmark channels for $6 a month you could add to YouTube or Hulu Live and still come out ahead of the att pricing too
