I am moving in the next month and currently have Uverse and have been satisfied. I have read that Uverse is being phased out so AT&T may force me over to AT&T TV when I transfer service.

Anyone have experience using both of these? Is AT&T TV any good?

I came from full blown cable and am very happy with AT&T TV.

Does it have a normal guide to look at? I ask this stupid question because that's what the wife needs. Cutting the cord a few years ago didn't work out due to no guide to look at.

The guide is there. It's different than what I was used to with Suddenlink, but now I am used to it. Works very well. I love how I can pick favorites, and not see all channls. So many I would never watch.

I moved last month and wasn’t asked to switch. They even gave me new set top boxes. They still support it right now, but aren’t offering it any longer.

No new customers for UVerse but you can keep it if you already have it. For how long, who knows? I like it a lot.

So I think I’m going to switch to LUS Fiber and try out their connect TV.

Any reviews on LUS?

AT&T is going to give you full resolution channels where at U-verse compresses everything into a poor 720p signal (not a high quality 720p like OTA channels). Picture wise it should be a clear upgrade.

Explain this to me like I am an idiot, because I am an idiot.
