Yep, that was me. Moved last year, got their "promo" of 1000 for $49 for a year. I called when it was up again, and asked them to extend. They pushed me to customer retention and she was quick to do it.
It was was easier than I was expecting.

I doubt very many people have 10gb nics to take advantage

Most people don't even have a switch to be able to move that bandwidth, so they probably wouldn't get those packages. AFAIK, the bg320 only has a single 5g port. It would be nice for someone like me that can make use of the higher speeds though

When I got my 1gbps installed, ran a speed test for the tech, and actually got gig+ speeds, the tech seemed genuinely surprised when I told him I had a 2.5gig nic on my board. Seemed like the inverse conversation is one he had to have on the regular

I “use” their gateway but I don’t use it for Wi-Fi. Just turned that off and Ethernet into my google mesh system. It’s worked great.
