AT&T Fiber - Free Upgrade?

We previously paid for 100mbps on fiber, and just got an email this morning saying we've been bumped up to 300mbps for no extra charge. Anyone else get this?

Back when I had Verizon FiOS the same thing happened to me. It's what every ISP should do but all too often people pay for crappy speeds for years without realizing it.

Read through it, a lot of times the no extra charge is for 6 months or 1 year. Cox keeps trying to offer my Gigablast for the same price as 300. But that price is only good for 1 year

They will raise it. Cox did that with regular cable. Bump the number for free then down the line bump the cost and say, hey we gave you more.

if you check the site, they have listed 100Mbps and 300Mbps at the same price now for at least 6 months.

also they rolled out AT&T TV service. So most areas can get 1gbps fiber for $39/month for 12 months right now. Doesn't require At&t TV.

Thanks for the heads up. I just contacted them via chat and changed my 100mB plan to 1000mB for the exact same monthly price. Appreciate it.

They did that shite to me.
Congrats. We are giving you HBO for free for being a loyal customer. Two months later I was being billed for it.
I have 100mb fiber right now with unlimited. When I canceled my TV Service, they forgot to remove the unlimited so I don't want to lose it.

The 1gbps for $39/month includes unlimited data but I get your hesitation. 100Mbps with unlimited data is a great setup for the right price.
