I’n looking to add old style arcade games to my game room. Have any of y’all bought any off Wayfair? They look a little small online. Thanks.

Well what brand are they? If it's 1up, they are small

Looks like most of the one in the $500 range are 1up. There are some with 400+ games but no titles. I’ll keep looking. Thanks.

It sounds like you are wanting full size machines. You will be better off avoiding thr Wayfaird and Wish type sites

this is what you want
- large monitor
- support for just about all classic arcade games because it includes spinners and trackballs
- coinopsx (google it) will allow you to buy a cheap usb stick and install thousands of arcade games & consoles and play them as well (FREE to download & run)
- if it dies you can bring it back to sams
- thriving community

1ups suck (spoken as someone who has 2 of them ) and you'll instantly regret the tiny 17" monitor and 4 games you're stuck with. far easier to put coinopsx on a legend than frick with a raspberry pi and drilling holes to support other controller options (also spoken like someone who has done this )

Check the dimensions on the item page first.

Wayfair has really good customer service so if you don’t like it you can usually get taken care of

CAD

Would this be easy for kids to navigate? Like under 8 years old?

Can I add sports games? Is it HD or pixelated ?

yes my 7yo can navigate.

keep in mind you'll end up with SAUCE (where the good stuff lives) and the 'OEM' set of 200 games which are ok but limiting. you can set the machine to boot to SAUCE but keep in mind the ultimate is designed for you to play just the 200 games they gave you and SAUCE is ahem..a bit of a gray area.

the SAUCE ux is just a spinning wheel and includes both classic games (4:3) with the sides filled in with graphics from the original arcade games and newer games that use the whole screen.

there are THOUSANDS of arcade games including golden tee, bowling, etc so lots of fun sports games.

you'll end up using the bookmarked/favorites tab to catalog just the games you like rather than searching through 10,000 arcade games every time even though they're sorted by genre, etc.

everything looks great; you can add 'scanlines' to make it look more like the original games but out of the box everything looks fantastic.

how many consoles you add (n64, atari, etc.) is pretty much only limited by the size of the USB stick you purchase. Go ahead & get a 256GB stick and you'll be covered.

i dont do much console stuff; i play the atari 2600 games, colecovision and maybe mario on N64 and that's about it. all those newer consoles came along after i was in college chasing girls around so i dont really have nostalgia for anything that came along after intellivision & colecovision.

Tons of youtube videos that show you this:

tons of different nagivation UX to choose from.
