I wish they would give us a "last channel" type button somewhere in the main menu of "what's on" type area. I do love DirecTV Now for the most part though, but I also got in on the $35 until canceled package. That helps, a lot.

I currently have YouTube TV but tempted to jump on their current promo to pre-pay for 3 months and get a free AppleTV 4k.

Did DTVNow ever roll out the DVR functionality live to non-beta customers? Compared to YouTube TV and Hulu Live TV, is directv now a good service?

I wish there was a remote they’d create for the Apple TV that would let you control the directv now app like an actual tv

I’d pay $100+ bucks for it easily.

I’m close to pulling the trigger with the Apple TV 4K deal. I signed up for a week trial but so far my biggest gripe is where is the content?
So I clicked on Fear the Walking dead and it only has episode 1 and 2 from this season. I think they’re actually on episode 4 as 5 is tomorrow.
Same thing with other shows. They may have all the episodes this season but missing last season, etc.

Does the 70$ plan get you access to everything on demand? I keep seeing them say that it gives access to 25k on demand content items. Unsure what that means really.

I think as things evol and you start to seperate yourself from expensive cable TV you have to adjust how you view content.

last night was frustrating beyond belief. It appeared to be nationwide judging by twitter traffic.

I'm new to DirecTV Now so I'm curious how frequent does this sort of thing happen?

I started up a PS Vue trial yesterday which worked mostly fine but even it buffered a couple of times, presumably due to high traffic. Hulu, etc. streamed without a hitch.

Eventually I'll need to determine which service to stick with although I'm sure I could flip flop month to month. I was really hoping DirecTV Now would be stable because they gave me a long term discount down to $20/month for the service after 3 months of a free trial and has a few extra channels that PS Vue doesn't offer.
