Starts at 12pm CST. Taking my lunch break at 12 to watch it.

Live Stream

You can also watch it on the Apple TV app on any Apple device.

Expect announcements of iOS16 iPadOS16 MacOS 13 WatchOS 9 TVOS 16

They may also announce some hardware, possibly a new MacBook Air.

Lots of speculation on what the new OS will contain can be found online, below is an example.

the last WWDC i attended was in the early 1990s and i was able to buy a Newton with a clear case and stylus.

sold it about 3 years later for 3x what i paid for it but wish i had held onto it. i bet its got to be worth more now.

Can’t believe they are still doing it virtual this year. Easily could have done it in person.

iOS first.

It seems most years are pretty meh. Apple isn’t what they use to be.

Edit: it’s about time they added fitness to all iPhones.

Edit 2: finally added sleep cycles, others like Fitbit have had this for years.

Editing text messages seems like a pretty big deal to
Me. That may have all kind of real world implications. Text messages have been a pretty big deal in policing and the legal system.

Interesting the fine print says you will have 15 minutes to edit or recall.

Was very surprised to see the 13 inch refresh. Feels super redundant and misfit in the overall line; not too much of a performance boost over the much sleeker Air that offers greater screen real estate, and anyone absolutely needing extra power would just go with the 14 inch Pro perhaps upgrading to the M1 Max if need be.

Yea I don't get it---that screen alone would make me not get it over the 14". I may have missed it, but were the ports upgraded at least? I was kinda in a work meeting at the same time lol

This pass key thing is interesting. It will make my 1Password app useless but that is ok.

I’m guessing they’ll give us an m2 Pro max etc later this year. I’ve been on the fence of a computer upgrade and I want the largest MacBook Pro they make, probably with 1tb of memory. I don’t think this 13inch would do it for me.

I think it does. I thought they got rid of that on the latest MacBook pros. It seems like they took an old machine and stuck a new chip in it. Kinda like they did with the IPhone SE.
