This is literally the worst talk to text experience I’ve ever had on a smart phone. I got to talk so slow to get it right, google wins hands down in this dept, it is honestly my biggest gripe since making the switch. I can live with the rest of it.

I hate so many things about Apple but their privacy policy is the best of all major phone manufacturers.

I've got bad news for you. If your threat model is the US government you've already lost. Their tools are so advanced and well funded they will just zero day your device if they want to. They sat on Eternal blue for a while until it was stolen by most likely a Russian APT. Microsoft only patched it randomly right before it leaked, aka they were tipped off.

Government still has access to Apple data. Don't kid yourself. I am sure they have a secret arrangement just as they do with most everyone else.
