Apple Laptops "USB-C only" - any owners here?

Does anyone here use a MacBook or a new MacBook Pro that's USB-c only? How well have you adjusted to the dongle life?
I got my MB pro set up this week and I'm having some second thoughts - coming from a 2011 Air. At my office I use a second monitor, Ethernet, USB printer, and Logitech wireless keyboard & mouse.
The only dongle that fit my needs - for under $100 or so - is this. I also bought these USB-C extension cables to keep everything tucked away.
The problem is my Logitech receiver doesn't work when I use the extension cable and even without it the mouse is jittery and keyboard laggy. Is the solution a new USB-C hub? I would just get a new keyboard but the Logitech K750 is perfect, except for requiring the stupid receiver.

I have the new MacBook... It's alright, but if having multiple ports is important to you (it isn't for me, and because of it the computer collects a lot of dust...ETA to clarify: you read that right, multiple ports isn't a big deal to me, and the lack there of on the MacBook even gets to me) I would think long and hard about it
I don't know if I would call it a deal breaker, the pro seems OK, and having 2 usb-c ports on my laptop makes it a lot easier (I also have a Dell XPS 12 that is a lot like a surface, with 2 usb-c slots like the pro)
--------
In conclusion: it you want the "MacBook" don't get it, get a surface instead
If you want a pro... I don't know exactly what to tell you, as I do not own a pro, but having 2 usb-c ports does broaden your choices

I have a MacBook 12" and I love it. I'm not a power user and I don't require multiple ports or dongles. I love the tiny form factor.
All that said I got a ridiculous deal on an open box one at Best Buy. Closer to full retail price I would have opted for the last generation 13" pro.

The price you pay for needing an ultra portable laptop sometimes and a desktop others. None of the laptops in this category have all the ports I need. The Spectre 360 comes close but I'd still require a dongle.
It is frustrating when my decently laid plan is stymied by a stupid Logitech receiver. If they were Bluetooth everything would've been fine.

FWIW I went from a MBP and Surface Pro 3 to the new MacBook and it's all I use. Still have MBP but don't use it. Sold SP3.
I have the adapter hooked to a charger and monitor in my home office and just use that. I rarely need it for anything else.
