Anyone have thoughts on Google TV's?

Looking into these, any general thoughts on pros or cons about them? I stream youtube tv mostly and looking to transition to nest cameras, already have google home wifi. Not sure any of above is overly relevant or not to wanting a google smart tv.
Any 55" recommendations out there as well?

Roku TV (via TCL TV, 55" for $249ish at Best Buy) Curious that you're doing this *after* the Christmas sales.
I don't understand why people go full "ecosystem" unnecessarily. Nest cameras were f*# horrible (check the upstream bandwidth on the cameras.) Google forced all video to the cloud, even if you weren't viewing it or experiencing an event, such as movement detection.)
I know Roku sells my viewing pattern data too, but least they don't know how often I update the software on my phone and what temperature my thermostats are set at, etc.

Android tv maybe? I prefer it to Roku BTW. Have it on my Nvidia shield and Sony

Google TV is fantastic, you press the assistant button. Tell it what you want to watch and it tells you what platforms you can find it on. You can basically tell your TV to do whatever you want it to. Much improved over the Android TV interface. But you can also get a Google Chromecast 4k and get the same experience for 150 bucks
