$499 is a decent price. Its not as smooth as you would think a vanilla Android phone would be. Camera blows. At $699 it was trash that I returned. At $499 it's a solid pick up.

I hated how there was no thin clear case options for it. Heck hardly any cases period.

I've been following r/essential a good bit and can't make up my mind if I want to or not! I went and played around with it in the store and it feels nice but too many issues going on with it. It helps that they are doing updates as soon as they can and many of them recently! Shows they want to have the support for it.. gonna wait until a few more updates and Oreo comes out to make my decision on it.
