I have AT&T and every few months I sometimes I hit the cap of my plan (YouTube consumes a lot) and AT&T would charge me $10 for an extra gig, overpriced but I was fine with it. Seems they stopped doing that and just started throttling me once I reached my cap and I now have speeds of .13 Mbps. TD works fine but everything else is abysmally slow. Why did they stop adding on extra gigs and can i get that feature back?

Stuck with this till the next billing cycle starts in two days. Last time I had to wait an entire week.

I haven’t hit the 22gb soft cap on unlimited to where they might throttle you in areas of network congestion. I did hit the 10gb hotspot cap and can confirm 128kbps speeds are the suck.

Yeah I was a fourteen year customer of AT&T. I am T-Mobile now and I could not be happier. My bill for two phones went from $145 a month to $80, really unlimited now. I would get throttled with AT&T, especially on road trips where the kids would stream. I can honestly say that AT&T is the absolute worst when it comes to bleeding the customer for every penny. You should really look at other options, if you are current or former military you cannot beat the TMobile One Military plan.

We have a family unlimited plan and are told that they may throttle the speeds if we all go over 22 GB.
Our whole family has gone upwards of 80 GB, yet I have no noticed any reduction of speeds.
Not that it was superior before, but I can still watch videos, etc.

Yep. I don't mind. I'd much rather get throttled than charged for overages.
