Any one use TheRenamer to organize your Media titles?

I want to get all of my movies to a set name like Name (year) and thats it. None of the extra crap about the info of the files.
Now im reading the 1803 windows update renders the renamer useless.

FYI, right now im encoding all of my media to HEVC. a folder that was 110GB now is 63 GBs.

I download everything through TeaTV ony laptop, rename them in explorer, then ftp them to my Movies folder on the Nvidia Shield (which is also possible on Fire stick and Android boxes).

I use file bot but only up to a certain version because it either cost or is some weird windows store thing now
The version I use still works wonderfully and I highly recommend filebot

The last free version of filebot that works without the windows store is 4.7.7

I like 64 bit, because my windows 10 is 64 bit so I clicked on FileBot_4.7.7_x64.msi 2017-01-03 21:28 24M
If you want the other version then it's FileBot_4.7.7_x86.msi
Good luck!

Naive noob question, but where/how do you download movies?
Is it really just trough torrents? Is that the option?
I don’t even mind paying for movies, but it seems that doesn’t get you a usable file unless you rip a physical disc.
ETA: did some research and my conclusion is that DRM is a real bastard.
