I'm not worth the shite at understanding graphics stuff.

Can be refurb or new, desktop or laptop no preference.

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVidia GTX 670 or AMD 7850 w/ 2GB (or better!)
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Recommended:
OS: Windows 10 (64Bit)
Processor: Intel Core i7
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVidia GTX 970
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible

Only 20gb hard drive? I can't remember, but I don't even think you can fit Windows OS in that little of space. Just the programs on mine take up like 300gb

Maybe try Tigerdirect or Newegg

I'm guessing it's not talking about HD capacity, but rather about the space needed for whatever program it has to run.

After owning a laptop with a 1050ti, I wish I would have gotten one with a 1060.

My laptop has the 7700hq, 16gb ram, 512gb SSD and 1050ti

Is laptop the way to go or desktop?

This will be for a golf sim so it will be hooked to a TV all the time.
